James Allen, one of the fastest growing online retailers of diamond engagement rings, has opened our first concept store in Georgetown. By combining the advanced technology of a virtual diamond shopping experience with the expertise of a specialized staff, James Allen will focus on the customer experience in a commission free environment.

As a James Allen Concierge, focusing on customer service and satisfaction is paramount.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and guide customers through the interactive experiences located within James Allen.
  • Work with Diamond and Jewelry Consultants to provide information and support creating an efficient and satisfying customer experience.
  • Strive to achieve projected sales objectives through customer service techniques.
  • Provide customer support via in-bound customer calls, email, live chat, and consultative interactions. Maintaining excellent written and verbal organizational skills.
  • Develop an efficient and effective knowledge of JamesAllen.com and the products that we sell.
  • Educate customers on James Allen and ensuring that the customer receives the best product to fit their needs.
  • Proactively manage customer expectations and ensure solutions that exceed customer service standards.
  • Accurately record sales and order information as well as other data entry related tasks. Verify order information for accuracy, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
  • Collect payment for merchandise, record transactions, and process transactions. Establish and maintain relationships with James Allen’s customers through appropriate communication venue.
  • Communicate effectively with management; fellow executives and associates to better serve our customers as well as the company.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail sales and customer service experience.
  • Flexibility to work traditional retail hours; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain excellence in listening, written, and verbal communications.
